Advised dealer left headlight had condensation and that one of the lights were out in June 2010 while under warranty. The Dealer South Motors BMW replaced the left signal light back in June 2010.

Advised dealer left headlight had condensation and that one of the lights were out in June 2010 while under warranty. The Dealer South Motors BMW replaced the left signal light back in June 2010.

What's up man, long shot since this thread is a year old but i'm having the same issue on my left headlights on my 22' X5. I tried to get it fixed but the service guy is saying "this condensation is normal it says it in the user handbook, warranty will decline it" what exactly am i supposed to say to force their hand.

Eligible and Covered Work/Repairs Defects in material and/or workmanship that causes excessive water entry into the DRL headlight assemblies are covered under the terms of the BMW New Vehicle Limited Warranty for Passenger Cars and Light Trucks.
Connect the battery charger to the vehicle. Always connect a BMW approved battery charger / power supply (SI B04 23 10). Open all accessible service covers that can be reached with headlights still installed. Turn on the high beam, until the condensation has cleared completely. This procedure will take about 30 min to dry both headlights.
