Panda Garra Losing Color

I have a question for owners of Panda garras. Do you notice a variation in fin color among fish? If so, any ideas why? I have three, all with different level of orange/red on their fins. About a month ago, I visited someones fish room in another city. He had about five that had much more color on their fins that even my most colorful fish. But, they had not grown as much or as large as my fish.

why is my panda garra rotating constantly while he swims and losing colour? I just noticed today that I hadn't seen my panda garra in a couple days. I don't think he's been eating. He's just rotating and freaking out and then laying on his side. So I removed him and put him into a 5 gallon pail. He looks really bad guys I'm so worried.

I've been to a semi LFS and their panda garra have orange in their tails already and their pale stripes are slightly yellow. I know while they are young or stressed they lose colour but it seems to be doing well, happily eating both on the glass and food that reaches the bottom.

I brought home a Panda Garra on Sunday. Yesterday he was very active and eating with gusto. This morning he has lost all his color and is hiding?:icon_sad: Anyone got any ideas? My water parameters are ammonia-0, nitrites-0, nitrates 10-20. Reply Quote Like Sort by Oldest first shane3fan 1245 posts Joined 2009 #2 Mar 6, 2012.
