Hello group, I have the Gen. 2 K1200S (2007). I put in a used abs module. Apparently this needs to be programed to work properly and can only be done by the BMW computer. Does anyone understand this process? Is it about coding and putting in the bikes vin #? Apparently, even my BMW dealer is.

I need a replacement ABS module for my 2006 K1200LT and have found a module from a 2006 K1200S. Visually they look identical, but I'm wondering if there are differences in the pressures or logic that would make them non interchangeable.

My KS is an '07 model and that year model, BMW changed the ABS module & that funnel is not required. But like Lee mentioned, the servo motor pumps the fluid through for you & I bet you wouldn't have to add much at all depending on how much ran out.

The Module was off a different bike that used the horizontal mounting with the reservoir attached to the body of the unit.
