MRMPO, in collaboration with local and state agencies, has updated the long range transportation system maps for the Albuquerque metro area. The draft maps are for the roadway, bikeway, and transit networks and are financially unconstrained maps that support long range planning efforts to 2045 and beyond. The draft maps will be available for public review March 13-April 20, 2026 and can be viewed on the MRCOG website at www.mrcog-nm.gov on the Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) page or under "Latest News" on the home page. Comments on the map can be sent to tcok@mrcog-nm.gov or over the phone at 505-724-3627. A public open house will be hosted at the MRCOG building (809 Copper Avenue NW, Albuquerque, NM 87102) on April 10th from 11:30am-1pm.
