Does Wayfair Offer Free Returns on Furniture? Complete Guide

Shopping for large furniture pieces online comes with concerns—especially around returns. Wayfair’s free returns policy on furniture aims to ease those worries, offering peace of mind with every purchase.

Wayfair provides free returns on most furniture items when shipped using their services, provided conditions are met. Returns are generally free for up to 365 days after delivery, excluding shipping fees. Eligible products include sofas, beds, tables, and decor, though custom or oversized items may have specific rules. To initiate a return, customers must request it via the Wayfair app or website, schedule a pickup or drop-off, and package items securely. While most furniture qualifies, some exceptions apply—always check the return policy page for details on individual items.

The free returns process begins with logging into your Wayfair account and selecting the item from your order history. You’ll choose a return reason and schedule a pickup or visit a local Wayfair Return Center. The company covers return shipping costs, and once inspected, your refund or exchange is processed swiftly.
