I'm hopeful a smart individual in the BMW community might have knowledge on how to make the default gong volume be less obtrusive in my "new to me" 2009 E91. With much aloha! My 04/07 E90 has the annoying beep sound rather than than sophisticated "gong" sound. I found a thread that suggests that all you need to do is swap the radio head unit to a newer model and change one thing in the coding.
