For the serious player and the dedicated enthusiast, the pursuit of the perfect table is the pursuit of the game itself. When it comes to precision craftsmanship and the highest standards of play, Olhausen billiards pool tables stand as a benchmark in the industry. This American legacy brand has been engineering tables that deliver consistent, tournament-quality performance for decades, making them a cornerstone for any game room, basement bar, or professional establishment.
The Olhausen Legacy of Craftsmanship
Founded on the principles of meticulous engineering and uncompromising quality, Olhausen has built its reputation on creating billiard tables that are as durable as they are beautiful. Unlike mass-produced alternatives, every Olhausen table is a testament to traditional joinery and modern engineering. The brand’s commitment to using only the finest materials, from the slates to the felts, ensures that each table is built to last a lifetime and perform at a championship level from day one to day fifty.
Superior Slate Construction for Perfect Play
The heart of any great pool table is its playing surface, and Olhausen leaves nothing to chance. Their tables feature triple-thick, 1-inch American slate beds, which are the industry standard for professional competition. This dense, unforgiving stone provides the truest roll and the most consistent bounce, allowing players to calculate shots with absolute confidence. The slate is leveled with micron-precision and mounted in an alloy cradle to prevent any shifting or warping, ensuring the bed remains true year after year.
Engineering the Perfect Game
Olhausen’s dedication to innovation is evident in their proprietary Level-Lok™ leveling system. This unique internal adjustment mechanism allows for precise leveling of the slate without the need to shim the legs, a common issue with other tables. The result is a playing surface that is perfectly flat and true, eliminating unpredictable rolls and frustrating mis-hits. This engineering excellence translates directly to a smoother, more enjoyable experience for players of all skill levels.
Frame and Cabinet: Stability and Style
Supporting the immense weight of the slate is the table’s frame, another area where Olhausen excels. Their one-piece, double-dovetailed maple frames provide unmatched rigidity and stability, preventing any table sag or bounce off the rail. The cabinets are crafted from select hardwoods and finished with high-gloss lacquers, offering a stunning aesthetic that complements any decor. Whether you choose a classic stain or a bold custom color, the construction ensures the table remains a solid, immovable fixture in your space.
