Remote Software Upgrade - The starter battery charge status is too low General BMW i5 and 5-Series (G60 / G61) Discussion. So now I'm back in NJ and under Vehicle Status, it says Remote Software Upgrade, "Installation currently blocked" and i click on the right arrow for more information. Keeps saying "Drive to charge the starter battery." but I am driving this car around and charging it as normal.

Please charge your vehicle's battery, e.g. by driving for an extended period of time. charging my car, just went to look at the level of charge and got this warning.
Anyone have that? Is this the 12V battery? Got this message in the BMW app btw, going to check the car after a few clients. I've had to attach a battery charger for several hours prior to nearly all installs to charge battery to near full before notice went away & I update took. I would have hoped the new x3, with mild hybrid (48v battery), would not have this problem since it's mentioned to work with the 12v starter battery when needed.
Is there any way I can force the upgrade? I tried charging the car, I tried connecting to other battery with the hood closed so it could have a stronger current and then turn it off for upgrade, nothing seems to work. is there any software to install this via pc? All times are GMT -5.
