Evolve Remap And Evolve-R - BMW E82 1M The software upgrade was designed and tested at our dyno facility and on road to give optimal performance with maximum safety. The Evolve-R is our latest revolutionary hardware release, enabling customers. But this year, Evolve Automotive's P65-swapped BMW 1M was truly a showstopper.
Known for their precision engineering and high-performance builds, Evolve Automotive took what was already a cult favorite. Follow the journey of Evolve's Java Green E82 1M! This particular example already came with an S65 engine and 7-speed DCT swap from an E9x M3 prior to Evolve obtaining the car, but that didn't stop them from performing massive upgrades with the help of a few friends! The BMW Motorsport P65 Engine. Although exceptionally rare, a BMW 1M with a big ol' V8 is not completely unheard-of.
In fact, Evolve Automotive's 1 Series M Coupe already had eight cylinders courtesy of an S65 swap. The 1M is a very special car, built from a parts bin it turned out to be one of the most engaging cars BMW had built for a long time, and was loved by journalists and owners alike. That doesn't mean we can't make a few improvements though - We take this 1M and give it a little more power, sound and stance with our Evolve ECU Tune, Akrapovič Titanium Exhaust, Eibach lowering springs, CSF.

The 1M uses the same N54 engine as the 135i/335i with the addition of a BMW Performance Pack. The 1M received a full CSF kit originally intended for the M3 E90/E92/E93. The dry sump setup had to be removed because this is a right-hand-drive car.
As Evolve Automotive explains, the dry sump connections sit where the steering rack is on an RHD 1M.
