Parent company Time Out Group posted on Wednesday that the food-and-drink collection of outlets will be closing in Boston's Fenway, as well as Chicago's Fulton Market at the end of January, though the digital media brands will remain active in both cities promoting food. After nearly seven years in operation, a major international food hall is closing in Boston, sources told the Business Journal. Time Out's closure will create a vacancy of about 27,000 square feet on the ground floor of 401 Park, a Fenway complex that also houses an REI Co-op store that's also slated to close later this year. While the market has seen substantial turnover since its opening, it remains completely leased with 15 vendors.
FULTON MARKET - Time Out Market in Fulton Market will close Jan. 23 after seven years in the neighborhood. The announcement came from the food hall's parent company, Time Out, a publishing company that covers restaurants and entertainment news in major cities around the world, including Chicago.
Time Out Group announced Wednesday it will be closing its food hall in Chicago's West Loop next week. Time Out Market Chicago 's last day will be Jan. 23, the group said online.
