Dining at VanderbiltChef James Bistro The most recent addition to Vanderbilt's dining mix, Chef James Bistro (named for a famous campus culinarian), sits next to Rand and complements its choices with a mix of prepared entrees, soups, sides and various grab. Vanderbilt's dining halls are more than just places to eat-they're vibrant community hubs where students connect, unwind, and enjoy delicious, nourishing meals.

Our meal plans are designed to make campus life easier, more flexible, and more enjoyable for all members of the Vanderbilt community. In response to our Dining Advisory Board's insight, feedback from our surveys, and partnership with Vanderbilt Student Government, we are sharing updates for 2025. The changes were guided by input from the Dining Advisory Board, student surveys and Vanderbilt Student Government. They include new meal plan options for off campus students, residential dining hall updates and menu updates.
