Pip Squeak the squirrel loved his big, juicy berries. He had a whole bush! "Mine, mine!" he chattered, holding a berry tight.
Along came Rosie Rabbit. "Hello, Pip Squeak!" she nibbled a clover. "Those berries look yummy."
Pip Squeak just hugged his berry tighter. "Mine!" he said again.
Soon, Barnaby Bear lumbered by. "Grrr, those look sweet," he rumbled. Pip Squeak looked worried. He couldn't eat all the berries. They might spoil!
Rosie Rabbit smiled. "Maybe if we all share, Pip Squeak, there will be enough for everyone to be happy!"
Pip Squeak thought. He looked at his many berries. He looked at his friends. He held out a big, red berry to Rosie. Then one to Barnaby.
Everyone munched happily. "Yum!" said Rosie. "Sweet!" rumbled Barnaby. Pip Squeak giggled. Sharing made his berries taste even better!
The moral of the story is: Sharing with friends makes everyone happy!
