Squeaky Squirrel found a big, round acorn. It looked so yummy!
"My acorn!" he chattered, and held it tight.
Along came Barnaby Bear. Barnaby looked a little sad.
"Hello, Squeaky," he rumbled softly. "I can't find any berries today."
Squeaky looked at his big acorn. He looked at Barnaby's sad face.
"This acorn is very big," Squeaky thought. "Maybe..."
He broke the acorn into two perfect halves.
"Here, Barnaby!" Squeaky chirped. "A yummy acorn for you!"
Barnaby's face lit up. He gave Squeaky a big, happy smile.
They ate the acorn together. It tasted so much better shared.
They even giggled!
