Rosie the Rabbit loved carrots. She munched on a big orange one. "Yum, yum!" she said, happily.
Sammy the Squirrel loved acorns. He held a small brown one. "Crunch, crunch!" he chattered, happily.
Rosie saw Sammy. Sammy saw Rosie. Rosie had a carrot. Sammy had an acorn. "What's that yummy smell?" they both wondered.
Rosie hopped closer. "Want a bite of my carrot?" she asked, holding it out. Sammy grinned. "Want a taste of my acorn?" he asked, holding it out.
They shared! Rosie nibbled the acorn. Sammy crunched the carrot. "Both are yummy!" they giggled. They made a new friend.
