Rosie Rabbit loved pretty flowers. She hopped in the green field. "Oh, a bright red flower!" she giggled. It was high on a tall stem. Rosie stretched, but she could not reach. Her ears wiggled sadly.
Sammy Squirrel watched from a tree. He was very busy. He loved finding crunchy nuts. "Zoom!" he chattered, running up and down. He saw a big, round nut near Rosie. But he was too high up.
"Hello, Rosie!" chirped Sammy. "Can you help me get that nut?" Rosie looked at the nut. "Yes, Sammy! If you help me reach my flower."
Rosie carefully pushed the nut to Sammy. Sammy zipped down and grabbed it. "Thank you!" he squeaked. Then Sammy climbed the tall flower stem. He gently bent it down. Rosie carefully picked the bright red flower. "Thank you, Sammy!" she smiled.
They both felt happy. Rosie held her flower. Sammy munched his nut. It is fun to help our friends!
