Fire Tv Reddit

Plugging fire stick into my panasonic tv (fairly old) and it is stuck with a message saying "please check hdcp menu". Is there any way around this? Does anyone have the Amazon Fire TV 2024 Omni Q 4K ultra HD TV? I have a couple questions. I want to know, it says it's completely voice.

I thought a firestick with the directv app would solve the problem, especially since Directv is one of the shortcut buttons on the newer remotes.

Problems: First, when you hit the DirecTV shortcut button. Fire OS is simply worse than Google TV in this day and age, whether it's through bloatware, ads, compatibility, playstore, casting, or sideloading. There's no reason why I would ever pick up a Fire stick over a walmart Onn box ($20).

I use my firestick to sideload apps that allow me to stream anything. I'm not concerned but kinda annoyed. Would have to figure out another solution to make my configuration work.
