Toyota has expanded its engine recall covering 2022-2024 Tundra, LX 600 and GX 550 models after continued failures.
Toyota is recalling about 127,000 vehicles, including Tundra pickups and Lexus LX and GX SUVs, due to potential engine debris problems that raise crash concerns. The trucks and SUVs that are involved in the recall include about 127,000 copies of the nonhybrid Toyota Tundra and Lexus LX (both from the 2022 to 2024 model years), as well as the 2024 Lexus GX. For all involved vehicles, Toyota will notify customers by late December 2025.
