Hello, does anyone know how to change the intensity of coasting in eco driving mode? It bothers me because coasting turns on too quickly. I drive a 2024 Tucson 1.6 MHVE E.
I have the self-charging Hybrid Ultimate Tucson. Lots to love about it but I keep getting a "Coasting" warning come up - usually when I'm driving at 50-60mph on A-roads and, because of the speed of the vehicle I only need to very lightly press the accelerator to maintain speed. Is there anything else in it than coasting warning, like adjusted regenerative braking? More? Help solve the mysterious EcoDAS, and may be suggest better EcoDAS functions. I'm sure, future cars will calculate the optimal eco driving for any route in real time and maintain, or warn, when speed and other things are not optimal. Coasting is available only when the drive mode supports ECO or SMART mode.
Available settings may differ depending on the vehicle model and specifications. For MY25 hybrid it has a specific auto regeneration mode that needs to be turned on. It will do regen by default but in auto mode it will use cameras etc and regen as you come up behind cars coasting or at the lights etc and it feels like the car is braking for you.
Has anyone enabled the coasting "help" feature. It suppose to tell you when to lift your foot of the gas and give you a little "chime". I drove on the highway a couple of times and did not see these.
I have the settings turn on. Which screen are you suppose to be on? THanks.
