Kapil Dev is one of the most successful cricket players in India and is married to Romi Bhatia. The couple has been married for over 25 years and has two children.
Kapil Dev was born on 6th January 1959 in Chandigarh, India. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm fast bowler. He is considered one of the greatest all-rounders to have ever played the game. He played his first Test match in 1978 and went on to play a total of 131 Test matches, scoring 5,248 runs and taking 434 wickets. He also played in 225 One Day Internationals, scoring 3,783 runs and taking 253 wickets. He was a member of the Indian cricket team that won the 1983 Cricket World Cup. He was also the captain of the Indian team that reached the final of the 1987 Cricket World Cup.
Kapil Dev's wife Romi Bhatia is also from Chandigarh. The couple met while they were both students at DAV College in Chandigarh. They got married in February 1990 and have two children, a son named Amiya and a daughter named Avantika.
Kapil Dev is currently the head coach of the Indian Premier League team Kings XI Punjab.
