Disney Characters That Should Be Princesses

Disney can be pretty picky about who they let into their elite circle, but we think it's time these characters joined the club. Welcome to MsMojo and today we'll be counting down our picks for the Top 10 Characters That Should Be Official Disney Princesses. From A Bug's Life to Frozen, these movie's feature character that should be official Disney Princesses!

Princess Leia - Stars Wars Princess Leia is the most deserved of all the figures who are not included in the line-up of Official Disney Princesses. She does not only act as a literal princess but also accomplishes many brave feats throughout Star Wars, such as assisting in the destruction of the Death Star. Disney counts 12 of its characters as official Disney Princesses, but there are plenty more characters with royal blood among the Mouse House's many films that don't make the cut.

When it comes to Official Disney Princesses, there are specific criteria they must go by. They must appear human, marry or be born into royalty, and/or perform a heroic deed in their film. Characters like Cinderella, Mulan, Tiana, and Moana all fit the bill.

Edit to add: There's nothing wrong with adding characters you love to the unofficial list who you feel that should be on there though. I was just saying that they are not part of the Disney Princess Branding. Vote up who you think should be an official Disney princess.
