You have no idea how much organizing my chests and using quick stack has improved my terraria experience,tho I usually have only five chests with specific roles. My way of doing it is 5 blocks tall, 40 blocks wide. This makes room for 20 chests and 20 barrels, alltogether, 40 pieces of storage.
