Missionary Spotlight

Missionary Spotlight, March 2026: Jim and Kathy Tanner

Retired from Papua, New Guinea

1. An old friend of Jim’s recently wrote a book that would be a wonderful resource for the Church in Papua, New Guinea and Jim has received permission to translate it. Pray that they will put the workbook on their list of translation projects for Papua New Guinea.

2. Praise the Lord, Jim is making some progress on the book he is writing about their lives. Keep praying!

3. Kathy has had a procedure done twice to help her with a chronic cough she’s had for many years, but they haven’t seen much improvement. Pray she will have the wisdom to continue the treatments or stop them.

4. The Tanner’s would like to take a trip to visit relatives, friends, and supporters in the next few months. Pray that God will open the door for them to do that.

They wish to thank you for your love, prayers, and faithful donations, which keep them going, as they have just turned 79 years old.

Grace Gear

We are excited to announce our brand-new Grace Gear Merchandise! See our full collection at the Grace Gear table located by the Resource Center. There are two options for ordering: simply use the QR code or the order form at the table. Orders must be placed by June 1, 2026. Product will be in by the end of the month. All proceeds will support our youth ministry.

Senior Luncheon

Seniors! Join us for a wonderful afternoon of food and fellowship at our Senior Luncheon this Thursday, April 16, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m in the Fellowship Hall. Sign-up sheet is at the Sign-Up Center in the foyer.

Men of the Word Study

The Men of the Word, a new study on Systematic Theology will meet this Thursday, April 16, at 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. in the Student Ministries room. Our goal is to help all GCOR men fulfill the charge to love Yahweh their God with all their heart, to love their families, and honor God in all they do. The sign-up sheet is at the Sign-up Center. Men's Breakfast

Our next Men's Breakfast is this Saturday, April 18, at 8:30 p.m. Men of all ages are encouraged to come!

Ladies Spring Tea

We will hold a Ladies Spring Tea on Saturday, May 2, from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. You are invited to host a table, bring food to share, or just attend. Please consider bringing friends, as this is a nice event for outreach. Sign-up sheets are at the Sign-Up Center.

Service Opportunity

GCOR is looking for volunteers to mow the church lawn this season. We are hoping to have at least four individuals to mow the lawn once month in a rotation. If you are interested in serving, please contact Dave Hartley.
