What is Here Comes the Bus?
It's a FREE app that shows you exactly where your child's school bus is in real-time. You can see the bus on a map and get notifications when it's getting close to your stop.
What You Need to Get Started:
- ✓ School Code: 74228
- ✓ Your child's Student ID number
- ✓ Your child's last name (spelled exactly as on report cards)
- ✓ A smartphone or computer
- ✓ Your email address
How to Sign Up
Download the App
Search "Here Comes the Bus" in the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android). Or visit www.herecomesthebus.com on your computer.
Enter the School Code
Click "Sign Up" and enter school code 74228. Click "Next" then "Confirm".
Fill Out Your Profile
Complete the "User Profile" with your information. Make sure to use a valid email address!
Add Your Student
Click "My Students" then "Add". Enter your child's last name exactly as it appears on their school records (including any hyphens). Then enter their Student ID number.
Verify Your Email
Check your email and click "Activate My Account" in the verification email. That's it - you're done!
⚠ Important Things to Know:
- The app is completely FREE for all families
- You can track multiple children with one account
- The app tracks the bus, not individual children - you'll get alerts even if your child isn't riding that day
- Sometimes buses get substituted for maintenance and the app may not work correctly
- Don't rely on the app 100% - if in doubt, wait for the bus!
