Accordingly, the features/services actually provided by this application, along with the corresponding personal information processing activities and permission requests, shall be subject to the final actual product.

Please note that you are not required to provide us with personal information; however, if the personal information you choose not to provide is necessary for the provision of relevant services by this application, we may be unable to provide such services to you or to respond to or resolve any issues you may encounter. We collect personal information to operate more efficiently and to provide you with the best user experience. We detail below the types of personal information we collect, as well as the reasons and purposes for collecting and using such personal information.

The channels through which we collect personal information include:

For the avoidance of doubt and to transparently inform you of personal information processing practices, please note that where it is expressly stated in the following content that the relevant personal information is stored locally only, such personal information will only be collected and processed locally on your device terminal and will not be uploaded to our servers, and is therefore not subject to this Policy.

Please note that if you provide the personal information of others, please ensure that you have obtained authorization from the relevant data subjects.

1.1 Personal Information We Obtain Directly from You

1.1.1 Account Registration and Login

You are required to log in to Cachup with a Google account to use its various features. During the account login authentication process, we need to collect your Google account name (nickname), account profile picture, and email address. We will generate a Cachup account for you based on your Google account. You can view this in the user center in the upper right corner.

1.1.2 Interest Preference Selection

After you complete your first login with a Google account, you can select a recommended AI Buddy instance on the "Updates" page to enter the Onboarding process. During this process, we will ask you questions to quickly understand the topic directions you are interested in, and we will collect the interest tags you select (the fields and directions the Buddy should focus on, the number of pushes, the content you customize, etc.) to help you create personalized Buddies and recommend personalized content. You can tap "Buddy avatar > Settings" to modify or reset your preferences, go to "Me > My Buddies" to remove an AI Buddy, or go to "Discover" to create more AI Buddies that may interest you.

1.1.3 User Center

You can view data from your use of Cachup on the "Me" page, including the Buddies you created, likes, favorites, browsing history, and other information. We collect the above data to display content updates from Buddies you follow, record your content preference feedback, maintain your like history list and provide statistical displays, maintain your favorites list, and allow you to review them in "Me > Favorites," among other purposes.

1.1.4 Personalized Services

When delivering Buddy-customized Updates, recommending news articles that may interest you (Node promotion), and generating personalized greetings and Daily Digest content, we provide you with personalized recommendation services to present and recommend information content that is more relevant to you and of greater interest to you.

We collect and analyze your device identifiers, device information (device model, system version, network conditions), application usage information (such as application usage duration and frequency), IP address, system locale, your usage information on Cachup, behavioral information (including browsing and click data, followed Buddies, interaction history), and interest tags. Through automatic analysis and computation of the above information, we generate your personalized characteristics and profile tags, and based on the computation results, we select content from the information candidate pool that users may be more interested in for delivery. Simultaneously, the recommendation model is updated in real time based on your browsing behavior during use of this application, continuously adjusting and optimizing recommendation results to better provide users with quality content. You can tap "Buddy avatar > Settings" to modify or reset your preferences, or go to "Me > My Buddies" to remove an AI Buddy, in order to adjust the content recommended and displayed to you.

1.1.5 Feedback

Your feedback is very important to help us improve our products/services. You can proactively submit feedback through the "Feedback" option on news articles and the in-app feedback panel "Me > Feedback". We collect the positive/negative tags you select and your written feedback content, which are used to improve Cachup's product features and user experience.

1.1.6 Optimizing User Experience and Maintaining Product/Service Security

When you use our services, we collect specific event tracking information to help us understand the scale of active users of our products, the usage of product features, and to formulate corresponding product strategies, optimize our products and services, and provide a smoother and higher-quality user experience.
