CalCOFI 0107NH
Data processing notes: I processed this cruise without access to the console ops.
Some problems with the data this cruise may be solved by referencing the cast
forms. Besides the typical mislabeling of line.sta or cast number, there were
some technical difficulties. Casts 012 had a problem with the oxygen sensor but
other data look okay. Cast 013-016 data had problems, perhaps because the CTDd
"fish" was changed for these casts. The pressure coefficients may be the problem
which resulted in invalid numbers. Either that or the failure of the pressure
sensor. It seems, although the CTD data are unavailable, the bottles tripped at
the targeted depths and bottle samples were drawn. It's a head-scratcher without
additional information (console ops?). I processed the data following the 2020
protocol. For stations without CTD data, please refer to the reported bottle data.
In 2001, these data are reported in IEH-format or in a hard-copy Hydrographic
Report. JRW Feb 5 2021

General configuration: in 2001, only one SBE04 Beckman/YSI oxygen sensor was
deployed. Dual temperature, conductivity, and pumps were configured with O2
inline with primary T & C. It should be noted that the secondary conductivity
ie salinities for a majority of casts had problems. Appropriate data codes were
assigned to bad ("9") or questionable ("8") data. Uncorrected data files are
available & archived in a separate folder.
CTD sensor config: V0 - Transmissometer; V1 - WetLabs Fluorometer; V2 - Benthos/Datasonics Altimter
  V3 - Biospherical Remote PAR; V4 - Oxygen Current; V5 - Oxygen temperature;
V6 - Seapoint Fluorometer; V7 - open; No surface PAR

Cast notes:
Cast 007: O2 spike at ~230m
Cast 012-016 - no oxygen data
Cast 028 - had oxygen data but sensor not configured so processed with Cast 029.con
Cast 013 - no pressure although mrk looks fine(?); perhaps it appeared fine onscreen
during the cast but wasn't saved properly.
Cast 014 - new fish was used, no O2 or Seatech; pr serial = 26277; pr data reads 890-1151m
for a 515m cast; data present but depth is incorrect in continuous CTD 1m data; mrk file
	data look okay(???)
Cast 015 - bad pr 892-1157m for 515m cast, data present but depth is incorrect
Cast 016 - bad pr 892-1154m (515m cast), data present but depth is incorrect
Note: mrk files are archived in the asc-hdr-btl folder
Cast 017 - pr corrected, back on track
Cast 024D - Fl spike at ~190m
Cast 050 - Line.station corrected from 83.40.6 to 83.3 40.6
Cast 052d - Primary salinity bad from 17-45m, upcast data look good
Cast 059D - O2 questionable 0-20m, flagged with datacode 8
Cast 062 _ pr bad again, no data
Cast 065 - UTC/GPS data corrected in hdr, check 1m data for correctness

Casts 031-064 upcast secondary salinities on many cast were datacoded as 8 or 9
Other than what's noted above, the primary up & downcast data look pretty good.
