CalCOFI 1407NH had an unusual station pattern because of Naval operations
conducted throughout the Channel Islands. Not only was 90.45 hard to schedule
but even line 93 (93.35, 93.40) and line 87 & 83 as well. Stations offshore were
unaffected but most mid-lines stations were done out of typical onshore-offshore
sequence. See station map for specific order.
The ever elusive sardine eggs were seen on CUFES transits to Santa Barbara Basin
station and subsequent Santa Barbara SCCOOS where anchovy, sardine(69), jack &
pacific mackerel eggs were collected.

*CTD PH Sensor was Repaired and had a new "inovative electrode" installed.
*Rebuilt carousel installed on sta 30: 90.28; mistrips stopped although new
triggers were installed on #5 & #20, the intermittent mistrippers.
*hdr mislabeling on stas 14 & 15, wrong cast # - fixed in .hex on Q
*hdr mislabeled on sta 20, wrong cast # - fixed in .hex on Q
*cast 23, 2nd T looked bad, reading 12deg at surface so CTD brought back onboard
and swapped out. Turns out the xmlcon that was loaded by RAJ was from 0404.
Correct coefficients were entered post-cast and everything looked fine but cast
23 does have a different secondary sensor. The original 2nd T was reinstalled
post-cast. xmlcon files were corrected.
*hdr mislabeled on sta 29, wrong cast # - fixed in .hex on Q
*hdr mislabeled on sta 33, wrong line 86.7 instead of 86.8 - fixed in .hex on Q
*hdr mislabeled on sta 46, wrong sta
*hdr mislabeled on sta 51, wrong casttype, labeled prodo

From Console Ops
Cast 001 - Bottle #9 no closure, snet back down & depth sampled again; CTD went
back down then returned to surface. Trigger #1 was changed before the cast due
to back deck test.
Cast 003 - Bottle #9 mistripped again - trigger changed post-cast
Cast 004 - winch wire wrap problem - went back down then up after 100m bottle
Cast 007 - #20 mistrip so sent back down and #22 was tripped for 10m LTER bottle
Cast 010 - rolling seas
Cast 011 - missed 140m the first time, sent back down after 125m bottle; yo-yo;
bottle #3 tripped but did not close, trigger cleaned post-cast
Cast 023 - during 10m soak, Temperatures do not agree, CTD brought back onboard
and secondary sensor changed. Turns out xmlcon was incorrect - sensors fine.
Original xmlcon file replaced by correct one, plots redrawn, everything is fine.
Original temperature sensor was reinstalled on secondary T channel post-cast.
Cast 027 - bottle #5 didn't close; CTD sent back down for another 10m bottle but
was not needed. Mistook #5 for #20.
Cast 029 - wrong sta in hdr - 90.35 should be 90.30; files corrected
Cast 033 - wrong line in hdr - 86.8 not 86.7; files corrected
Cast 036 - Santa Monica Basin - unusual stratification on downcast, verified by
upcast so looks real.
