Hi Daniel,

I hope you and your family have had a restful and happy Easter.

A re-elected Albanese Labor Government will introduce legislation to ensure workers don’t have their pay cut and their penalty rates are protected into the future.

Labor will always stand with workers to protect their wages so that we can help them deal with the pressures of today and get ahead in the future.

Early voting for the Federal Election opens tomorrow! Find your nearest early voting centre

The Albanese Labor Government is committed to building WA’s future working in partnership with the Cook WA Labor Government to deliver:
  • Upgrades to the Bannister Road and Nicholson Road intersection together with a new bridge for Garden Street over the Nicholson Road intersection;
  • Upgrades to freeway style intersections on Tonkin Highway at Hale Road, Welshpool Road and Kelvin Road;
  • the extension of the Tonkin Highway to south of Mundijong, connecting to the South Western Highway; and
  • upgrading Thomas Road from between Kargotich Road and South Western Highway, with intersection upgrades at Thomas Road, Kardan Boulevard, Masters Road / Malarkey Road, and Plaistowe Boulevard.
A re-elected Albanese Labor Government will also:
  • Make sure every Australian can see their GP for free, investing $8.5 billion to strengthen Medicare and train more doctors.
  • Open 6 more bulk-billing Medicare Urgent Care Clinics in WA, on top of the 8 already opened here in WA this term, including the one already open in Gosnells.
  • Cap the cost of prescription medicine under the PBS to $25, and keeping it frozen at $7.70 until 2030 for concession card holders.
  • More tax cuts for every tax payer, which Peter Dutton has committed to reversing if elected - putting up the tax you pay.
  • Another $150 off your Synergy bill.
  • Reducing the cost of household batteries, saving you thousands of dollars a year on new solar and battery systems.
  • Helping Australians to buy their first home with only a 5% deposit and no mortgage insurance, and build 100,00 homes for sale only to first home buyers.
  • Making Free TAFE permanent, and cutting university, TAFE, and apprenticeship debt by 20%.
I look forward to your support at this election to keep Building a better Burt together.

Yours faithfully,
Matt Keogh MP
