Reddit Hyundai Blue Link

Worth getting bluelink? Hey everyone I just got a 21 sonata limited and was curious what your experiences with blue link have been. Is it worth getting? Want to get a good tracker for the car so was considering that, using an AirTag or advanced car tracker through Amazon. Let me know what you guys think!

Hyundai's connected system now runs on two tracks. Older models use the original Blue Link with paid subscription tiers. Newer ones,2024 and up, get Bluelink+ free for life, but only for the first owner.

The difference isn't small. Blue Link plans once ran over $350 a year, while Toyota and Honda still charge for similar features. My free bluelink subscription is almost up, so I'm now going to be forced to pay for it if I want to keep it.

Curious how you guys feel on the worth it factor. I also know there's three separate subscriptions within bluelink, so do any of you pay for some of them and not all? Bluelink® is a dynamic, connected car technology subscription system consisting of three packages: Remote, Connected Care and Guidance.

It's really a personal decision based on how important it is for you. For myself, I would keep it just for the convenience of prewarming the car and defrosting the windows on Canadian winter mornings. The car will work fine without bluelink but it is a luxury that I'm willing to pay for.

It's also nice to be able to remotely verify the battery SOC and to have the systems status report. For me. Subreddit dedicated to the auto maker Hyundai.

I bought a Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Active for hiking use. The watch doesn't seem to have the BlueLink App compatibility. I have emailed Blue Link about it.
