We recently completed a renovation for our bathroom with Wickes. Our design consultant Leigh Joyce was friendly and attentive throughout the entire procedure, and the installers were swift and a pl. We had our bathroom designed and installed via wickes.
Probably the biggest mistake we've made really and certainly not worth paying a premium for over just getting a local bathroom fitter to take care of everything. We had such a time of it that the ombudsman are reviewing our order and installation issues. I'm hoping to refit my bathroom but am unsure of where to start.
I'd really appreciate hearing about your experiences of the bathroom design and installation service offered by the big high-street brands e.g. Wickes; B&Q; Plumworld; Victorian Plumbing etc., if you'd be so kind. Thank you in advance.

I've recently had my kitchen and bathroom done by Wickes. It's not really a question of how good they are, because they use local contractors to do the installations. So, you're really asking how good the installers are.
They completely ripped out the old one, and re-installed from "scratch". The fitter explained this was his first solo job as he was new to wickes and had been a plumber/tiler before hand. Bathroom visually looks lovely.
However, a few weeks later we noticed there were watermarks on the ceiling in the room below this en suite.
