Once body shape has been determined, the next step is to focus
on color. With each particular body shape, certain colors will look
better on certain areas of the body than others. Certain colors
will also look better on people with a particular eye color, hair
color and skin tone.
This lesson will introduce you to the second important
consideration buyers should make before purchasing items, color,

[Heading] What Is A Seasonal Color Analysis?
[Paragraph] In addition to finding body shape, discovering their
seasonal color type can greatly assist customers in building a
capsule wardrobe by helping them find the best colors to include
in their wardrobes. This is typically done via a seasonal color
analysis.
A seasonal color analysis is a survey of hair color, eye color, and
skin tone that helps shoppers determine which colors and tones
truly compliment their features. Depending on their combination
of hair color, eye color, and skin tone, people will fall into 1 of
the 12 seasonal color types.

What Items Are Needed In A Capsule Wardrobe
As mentioned in Lesson 2, a capsule wardrobe is a small
collection of essential wardrobe pieces. These pieces must be
carefully chosen because they will be used to create a solid base,
or foundation, on which the build the rest of your wardrobe.
Therefore, understanding that this foundation is a starting point
on which to build a better wardrobe that functions easier, will
help guide you towards choosing items that are more flexible,
interchangeable, and easily matched with various accent pieces.
So, what are these essential, foundational items? Click through

Wanting to gain a better understanding of the concepts of body

So, if I'm a dark winter with a rectangular body shape and
romantic personal style, what type of dress would be good for
me to buy if I choose to build my own capsule wardrobe?
Choose the picture below that most closely matches the type of
dress Seema should describe to her.
[Answer Choices]
Choice A
[Choice A Feedback] Although this silhouette and style would
work, the color would drown out Amy's cool winter features.
Choice B [CORRECT ANSWER]
[Choice A Feedback] Yes! The X-line silhouette and wrapped
waist gives the body curves. The light flowy fabric and ruffle
detail cater to Amy's romantic style and the white goes well with
her cool winter season.
Choice C
[Choice A Feedback] Although this fuchsia color would
complement Amy's cool winter features well and the flowy fabric
caters to her romantic style, the silhouette is too loose for her
rectangular body type.
