Where the 15 top-ranked crypto forecasters stand this week — and who’s still calling lower lows.
CallRank.AIISSUE #1 | July 28, 2026
Welcome to the first edition of The Sharp Report — and thank you for signing up. Everyone on Crypto Twitter sounds confident. Almost nobody keeps score. CallRank does — we track and score the public calls of crypto’s top influencers, so every week you get one clear read: what the Sharps — the forecasters with a verified, strong track record — are actually calling right now, and how their calls are working out.
FOUNDING READER OFFER — this is edition #1, and I want to shape it around you. Email support@callrank.ai and tell me what you’d like to see more (or less) of — everyone who sends feedback gets a free CallRank Pro account to explore every insight on the site.
THE TOP 15 — WHERE THEY STAND
It’s the field versus the #1: alejandro_XBT was bearish all the way down the slide — it’s a big part of why they sit at #1 — and they’re still short while five of the top 15 now call Bitcoin higher over the next month; the clearest alt consensus is SOL, where four of the five top-15 names with a live call are bullish.

THE BIG STORY THIS WEEK
Is the bottom in?
That’s what all of Crypto Twitter is chewing on, and our two best-ranked forecasters gave opposite answers this week. drprofitcrypto (#2) — short since calling the September top — closed every crypto short, bought spot Bitcoin for the first time since September 2025, and set an $80,000 target. alejandro_XBT (#1), bearish the whole way down, isn’t budging: “The bounce is over. I hope you understand.” Across the top 15, five call Bitcoin higher over the next month and four call it lower; on longer horizons they split nine bullish, four bearish.

BIGGEST GAINERS OF THE WEEK — WITH A SHARP ON RECORD
Every SOL call on the book is from this week and the big names lean the same way — reclaim $80 first, then cryptogodjohn’s (#11) “$100+ in the fall.” Lone dissenter: ryandcrypto (#5) again.
Nine live calls say $1,000. The bulls need $535–$550 to hold — ZEC sits right on it — and the board’s #1 stands alone at the bottom: “ZEC → $70 this year.”
Four Sharps have stacked bullish INJ calls inside a month — bitcoinhabebe (#8) called it “a Very good buy here” at $4.73, learnernoearner (#34) has run a string of long setups, cryptonewton (#33) posted the chart, and Byzgeneral (#56) added this week that it “seems to have a consistent passive bid… looks like it wants to go to $8.” INJ trades at $5.01, up about 6% since the first call of the series, with seven of the eight Sharp calls in the last month pointing up.
The chart behind “a Very good buy here”: bitcoinhabebe’s (#8) Jul 02 daily — INJ pressing through the multi-month downtrend line, posted at $4.73.

castillotrading has one open NEAR call from May 25, grouping it with “Crypto AI related plays” they say “can 10x from here” — a directional up call posted at “$2.53”.

alejandro_XBT is calling ZEC down to a target of '$70' this year, posted while ZEC traded near $324, framing it plainly: 'The market will decide.'
tedpillows is calling ZEC up, pointing to $25,000,000 in short positions that would face liquidation on a 20% pump versus $7,000,000 in longs on a 20% drop: “the max is clearly to the upside.”
blockchainedbb is bullish on ZEC, first flagging a daily close above “.380” as confirmation with a planned “2-3 months” holding period, then saying they're “booking” ZEC again at the yearly open for the next leg higher.
astrocryptoguru has stayed consistently bullish on ZEC across three calls, targeting '$615' and '$670', then flagging '$600' as in play if '$535' holds as support, and most recently noting the '4 hr uptrend line holding as support and BOUNCING.'

@alejandro_XBT thinks HYPE has already peaked, calling the rally "the final blow-off top" while it traded near $56.86, and predicting a drop all the way down to $10.00, saying "the hype is over."
@ryandcrypto has run a near-daily series since June (now past "day 36") repeating a $100 target for HYPE across the $30s to $70s, with some posts stretching the call to $170, $200, $689 or even $10,000 over a multi-year horizon; they briefly flipped bearish on Jun 15, saying they'd sold at $68 and would "rebuy at $15," but resumed the $100 target that same day and have held it since.
@killaxbt is watching HYPE for a pullback into the $48–52 zone (trigger $48.00), saying they are “setting HTF bids” there and explicitly “will not be shorting it”; posted with HYPE at $64.59.

@CaptToblerone is bearish on TAO — a chart update posted at $197 that maps a steep decline, with a long only coming into play down around the $20.70 zone (the bottom he’d buy, not a hedge against the drop).
@AltcoinSherpa leans up on TAO, calling it a “good AI pick” around $254 while noting it's “not a great active trade” and could “take a while to move” — their play is buying spot and waiting.
@Cryptowizardd is consistently bullish on TAO across four posts, calling it a “legendary play” and “main AI bag,” with targets ranging from “$1,000” to “$3,000–$5,000,” posted between $283 and $376.

BEARISHto $16,000–$30,000called Jul 23
alejandro_XBT is flatly bearish, laying out a 12–24 month base case with Bitcoin “between $16K–30K” and adding that they “don’t think this bear market ends without Bitcoin at least testing $30K.”
drprofitcrypto is the board’s loudest bull — after Bitcoin “reclaimed the weekly MA200,” they say a confirmed breakout above their “Green Line” opens “the path toward the $80,000 region as the next major target.”
cryptokid is a patient long: “I’m long Bitcoin” and DCA’ing “into the first week of October,” adding above the 200-day moving average and letting it “ride until 2029” — even while flagging near-term “rejection/consolidation” at resistance.
bitcoinhabebe reads the pullback as constructive — “so far it’s a healthy correction after a nice uptrend” — with holding the “green line zone” the key to continuation higher.
thecryptomonk turned two-sided this week: they saw BTC “close to breaking out” toward $75k, then on Jul 23 “opened a quick short to hedge,” expecting a revisit to “$62.5kish.”
layahheilpern is bearish, warning “Bitcoin is going to make a new low very soon” and — with “everyone still delusionally bullish” and BTC unable to “hold 65k” — calling this “exactly the environment” for lower.

52/100 5 BNB calls
BEARISHto $1.00–$99.00called Jun 23
alejandro_XBT has stayed bearish on BNB across three calls, calling $1,247 the "generational top," then $1,400, and saying BNB is "finished" and may never make a new all-time high. Targets given were $100, $120, and a $1.00-$99.00 range, with talk of "two-digit" or "single-digit" BNB.
thecryptomonk is bullish on BNB, posting at $586 that it "was lagging slightly behind other majors" but has "a good shot at going well past $600 again," with a $600 target and the sign-off "Long and strong!"
The top forecasters’ conviction is rotating bullish. The #2 flipped long with an $80,000 Bitcoin target — and this week went “EXTREME” long ETH toward $4,000 — five of the top 15 are calling BTC higher over the next month, and the freshest calls are crowding into ETH’s $2,000 breakout and SOL. The holdout is the one name that’s been right the longest — alejandro_XBT is still short everything, now with a $16–30K Bitcoin base case. One side of that trade is about to be very wrong, and next week’s issue keeps the score.
