Failure to reclaim $65,000 has our Sharps very worried.
CallRank.AIISSUE #2 | August 03, 2026
Welcome back to The Sharp Report — your weekly read on what the Sharps, the top-ranked crypto forecasters we track and score, are calling right now and how those calls are working out.
THE TOP 15 — WHERE THEY STAND
The bulls at the top of the board are gone. A week ago most of the top 15 saw Bitcoin higher over the coming month; after the second rejection at $65,000, they walked — only two are still calling for upside, and the rest are waiting for lower prices to buy rather than higher ones to chase. What conviction is left on the board lives in the ETH and PUMP longs.

THE BIG STORY THIS WEEK
The Sharps flipped bearish. The crowd didn't.
The sharpest forecasters on the board just gave up on the rally. They spent July calling the bottom, waiting on the breakout — and after watching Bitcoin get turned away at $65,000 for the second time in a week, they stopped waiting. Last Tuesday most of the top 15 saw Bitcoin higher over the coming month. This morning only two still do. The rest are looking down.
An FOMC scare vaporized the better part of a billion dollars in leveraged longs in a single day. The Clarity Act — the catalyst half the bull case leaned on — stalled in the Senate while the ETFs quietly sold. Hackers drained close to $90 million in Bitcoin out of Coldcard hardware wallets, the cold storage people buy precisely so that can never happen. And Strategy — the company that turned never selling Bitcoin into a religion — sold more than 1,600 BTC last week to pay dividends and buy back its own preferred stock. The names that spent a month defending the bottom flipped to hunting lower prices, some inside a single day.
Even the loudest bull left is hedged. drprofitcrypto (#2) — who called the bottom and put an $80,000 target on the board barely two weeks ago — hasn't flipped; they're still long and still buying. But look at how: careful 5% slices, with the accumulation zone held open all the way down to $54,000. That's a bull positioned for the market to fall another ten thousand dollars before being proven right — conviction with a seatbelt on. The map is the same across the board — $62,000 has to hold, $60,000 is next if it doesn't, and a clean reclaim of $65,000 is the one thing that proves the dip crowd wrong.

BIGGEST GAINERS OF THE WEEK — WITH A SHARP ON RECORD
ETH is the one major the bulls never left — the most one-sided book on the board, and everyone watching the same trade: hold $1,850–$1,870, break $2,000, and it opens up. tedpillows (#17) is loudest — “Feels good to bull post $ETH again” — with drprofitcrypto (#2) “EXTREME” long toward $4,000. CaptToblerone (#7) and alienops (#21) are the resistance.
ZEC was the only big name on the board that went up while everything else bled this week. The believers haven't moved — targets still run $615 to $1,000 — but the tone cooled: AltcoinSherpa (#31) now sees “just slow grinding up and slow grinding down,” and ryandcrypto (#5) put ZEC at $200 in his weekend bear sweep. alejandro_XBT (#1) still holds “$ZEC → $70 this year.”
AltcoinSherpa's (#31) Aug 01 chart at $466 — the most recent Sharp read on ZEC, and a cautious one: “doesn't have a super clear trend to me, just slow grinding up and slow grinding down.”
HYPE keeps sliding toward the exact number the panel wants to buy. killaxbt (#28) named it — “If $HYPE gives 51.54, I will take a long” — and price has drifted from $56 to $52.61 since. cryptogodjohn (#14) already calls sub-$50 “a major mid to long term buy and hold,” while ryandcrypto (#5) is on day 48 of posting the chart until $100. alejandro_XBT (#1) still says $10.
cryptogodjohn (#14) posted this on Jul 31 at $52.92: “Sub $50 hyperliquid is a major mid to long term buy and hold.” HYPE has since traded to $52.61.

“People cant understand about $TROLL Bcz of penic selling… $TROLL next move $500M - $1 billion market cap”
The biggest resolved move on the board this week. Posted in February at $0.018 with a $500M–$1B market-cap target, TROLL peaked 710% above the call — and even after the fade, it still trades about 110% above the entry today.
MISS OF THE WEEK

“$ZEC failure alert ⚠️ 🚨 Zcash has been rejected off critical resistance presenting a clear long term double top bearish trend signal. -I would not want to be holding this right now.”
The double top never came. Posted with ZEC at $295, the coin ran as high as $689 against the call — more than doubling — before the six-month window closed on Jul 30. Even today ZEC trades near $490, about 66% above where the failure alert was posted.

NO DISSENT LEFT — PUMP is the one trade nobody on the board argues about anymore — every post we scored this week points up, and it's run about 34% since early July while Bitcoin went nowhere. Even the loudest bear switched sides: AltcoinSherpa (#31) went from “$PUMP to $0” in mid-July to “a great one and 1 of the leaders right now.”

BULLISHcalled Aug 02
drprofitcrypto stays the board's most committed ETH bull, having gone “EXTREME” long with a $4,000 target and kept the position through the fade.
cryptogodjohn is looking through the chop: “Onchain cooking and Solana is $72 and $ETH is at $1850. Just imagine in 8 months when Solana is at $200 and Ethereum is $3200.”
tedpillows is the loudest ETH bull on the panel — “Feels good to bull post $ETH again” — with $36,000,000 in sell orders around $1,975–$2,000 the wall to clear, and $2,150 beyond it.
alienops wants the trap first: “$ETH has yet to reach premium. One more leg higher could trap early shorts,” before a bearish shift would set up the real move.
cryptorover is long-horizon bullish, marking ETH's eleventh mainnet birthday with “I believe $ETH will reach $7,000 next bull market,” alongside a 2032 call of $20,000.

blockchainedbb is bullish on ZEC, first flagging a daily close above “.380” as confirmation with a planned “2-3 months” holding period, then saying they're “booking” ZEC again at the yearly open for the next leg higher.

@Cryptowizardd is consistently bullish on TAO across four posts, calling it a “legendary play” and “main AI bag,” with targets ranging from “$1,000” to “$3,000–$5,000,” posted between $283 and $376.

cryptokid flipped short-term after making the long-term case. Days after setting 2026's institutional flows against 2022's blowups, they posted “A rough Q4 awaits the BTC price action…”
layahheilpern is doubling down, reading Strategy's authorisation to sell up to $5 billion in Bitcoin as confirmation: “Helllooooo lower lows that i have been telling you about for over a year, lfg!”

alejandro_XBT has stayed bearish on BNB across three calls, calling $1,247 the "generational top," then $1,400, and saying BNB is "finished" and may never make a new all-time high. Targets given were $100, $120, and a $1.00-$99.00 range, with talk of "two-digit" or "single-digit" BNB.
thecryptomonk is bullish on BNB, posting at $586 that it "was lagging slightly behind other majors" but has "a good shot at going well past $600 again," with a $600 target and the sign-off "Long and strong!"
The excitement is gone. A month ago the board was riding the run from the $57,800 bottom toward $65,000 and calling the turn; two failed reclaims later, that energy has drained out completely. Now everyone — the Sharps included — is waiting, nervous, to see what Bitcoin does next. We'll keep the score.
