Sofa bed? I'm looking for an inexpensive sofa bed that I could use in a guest room. I would like to not spend a lot, but get something that is sturdy and somewhat attractive, but also comfortable for guests. I have seen some that are as cheap as $150 but I can't imagine they're very high quality.
It's not cheap, but we have one and it's pretty fantastic. It's absolutely impossible for me to sleep on an old style sofa bed, but this is a memory foam mattress, with a very simple mechanism to unfold. My dilemma is whether to get a cheap sleeper couch, fuuton bed, or just an air mattress and treat that as a couch as well for my living room. I can 99% say that I will never use the couch/bed - I think I've sat on the couch I have in my current apartment less than 10 times in the last year. No specific sofa recommendations but I recommend buying a memory foam mattress topper to put on the bed when pulled out. We've done this for years (on sofa beds, air mattresses, day beds, etc) and it's made such a difference. We store it separately and put in on the bed under the sheet.
