This is my first time ordering from wayfair. I understand that open box items cannot be returned and I am planning on purchasing an upholstered bed. What have your experiences been like with open boxed items? Was everything in new condition?
The Wayfair Return Policy isn't always easy to read, but one thing is clear - you can't return Open Box items after you buy them. Of course, you can try to call Wayfair Customer Service and ask (very, very nicely) if they'll make an exception. Wayfair Open Box? Has anyone bought any of the Wayfair Open Box items? It seems to be items returned and checked for no damage/defect and some are quite a lot marked down.
Asking because there's no returns allowed on these items, and wondering if it's worth while taking the risk for the lower price. What is the Wayfair Open Box return policy? Open Box items are typically final sale and non-returnable, along with most clearance, personalized and "Non-Returnable" labeled products. Apparently it's the customers fault that their shit products break.
For instance, three barstools purchased and two out of the three are broken within a couple months of purchase. I just think it's funny. 8 years, 82 purchases and 9 returns somehow sends them red flags? Anyway, be careful what you return at Wayfair.
You'll have a target on your. Hi, can someone please clarify the policy about furniture returns? It says that assembled furniture can't be returned. Can you just disassemble it, put it back in the original box and return it? We bought an armchair and obviously haven't seen it in person, I would like to be able to assemble it before I decide if I want to keep it.
Are opened box items real? So since July I have ordered eleven opened box items. I have received 1 of them. The rest were canceled because of lack of stock.
I understand 1 or 2 but I'm on number 10 and taking it personally. Is it a scam that I have not yet caught on to? Maybe I have to be a designer with a business account? I just received a bed I ordered from Wayfair and now I see the price is $131.00 less than what I paid.
They don't do price adjustment and I'm trying to decide if it's worth my time to order it again at the new price and return the other one. Most of the time they are in open box because the supplier warehouse won't take returns so when they are returned they are routed to the liquidation warehouse. Openbox is great for deals.
The first person to complete the sale gets the item and if anyone else purchases it before the website refreshes they get canceled.
