The Rose 'Novalis'® (Rosa) is a rich-flowering rose that plays a special role in the garden. The numerous, heavily double flowers are purple and appear from June to September. Their delicate fragrance unfolds particularly on sunny, warm days.
With its bushy and upright growth, this small shrub grows up to 80 cm tall and 40 cm wide. Novalis is a unique German lavender rose bred by Kordes (2004/2010), prized for its rare dusty-mauve cup-shaped blooms (10-12cm) that fade elegantly to ash-gray. Though moderately fragrant and disease-resistant, its petals scorch easily in sun and rot in rain, with color intensity shifting dramatically under weather in.
