Simpsons House Color Change

The Simpsons is an American animated sitcom created by Matt Groening for the Fox Broadcasting Company. The show is set in the fictional town of Springfield and parodies American culture, society and television. The color palette looks downright clownish rendered in such photo-realistic detail (Are we sure this isn't Krusty's house?), though I sort of dig all the Prince purple.

The Simpsons' house may be one of the most recognisable homes on TV. The famous animated family that never gets any older has been living in Springfield for an incredible three decades. Perhaps most incredibly, despite changing the house's colour very slightly, the family doesn't seem to have made any major structural modifications in that time.

The original Simpson's house color fit right in a 90s suburb but maybe it's hard for SD to create that color without inpainting since the training set might not be filled to the brim with it. The Simpsons house is the residence of the Simpson family in the animated sitcom The Simpsons and in The Simpsons Movie. The house's address is most frequently attributed as 742 Evergreen Terrace.

Mix these together and you get the colour of the walls in the Simpsons' living room. 2019's Living Coral matches the skirting boards, 2018's Ultra Violet is the colour of their television, going all the way back to 2010 where Pantone's Colour of the Year. In fact, The Simpsons house sticks out like a sore thumb. As you can see in the images below, the residence looks quite odd amongst the other homes on the street, which are all Spanish in style. As such, I think the homeowner association should have allowed the original color scheme to remain.
