Brookfield Zoo in Chicago - At Brookfield Zoo for visitors and employees who prefer more privacy when breastfeeding or breast pumping in public, the zoo does provide comfortable nursing facilities. Brookfield Zoo has a large staf of volunteers located throughout the zoo in the summer who talk with guests about tactile artifacts that can be handled and touched. The Hamill Family Play Zoo ofers a variety of hands-on activities, including a quiet room for children who need a break.

If you want privacy, there is a nursing room in the Play Zoo (which is by the south entrance). A private room is available at Hamill Family Play Zoo for nursing mothers if desired and nursing pods are available for guests located at the Feathers & Scales exhibit and in underwater viewing at the Seven Seas Dolphinarium. There are exits to First Avenue from the Eisenhower Expressway (I-290) and from the Stevenson Expressway (I-55) (See detours above).
