Once your modem is powered on, you'll need to connect it to your Charter account. To do this, open a web browser on a device connected to your modem's network. You should see a Charter login page.

Log in using your Charter username and password. If you've forgotten your login details, you can reset them on the Charter website.

After logging in, you'll be prompted to set up your Wi-Fi network. Choose a network name (SSID) and password. Make sure your password is strong and unique to protect your network.

You can also choose to enable Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) for easy device connection. However, be aware that this can also make your network less secure.

Connecting Wired Devices

Now that your modem is set up, let's connect a wired device. This is a great way to ensure a stable connection for devices like gaming consoles or smart TVs.

Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to your modem and the other to your device. Your device should now be connected to the internet.

Checking Your Connection Status

To ensure your device is connected, open a web browser and try to access a website. If the site loads, your connection is successful.

You can also check your connection status in your device's network settings. Here, you should see that you're connected to your Charter network and have an IP address.

Setting Up Additional Devices

To connect wireless devices, select your Charter network from the list of available networks on your device. Enter the password you created earlier.

Once connected, your device should have internet access. You can connect as many devices as you like, as long as they're within range of your modem.

And there you have it! Your Charter modem is now set up and ready to provide internet access to all your devices. Enjoy your new connection!
