Skillet Pork Chops with Potatoes and Onion

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 each 1/2" thick pork chops
  • 1 tablespoon King Arthur All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon Publix Black Pepper
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons beef bouillon powder
  • 6 tablespoons hot Water
  • 2 each Yukon Gold potatoes thinly sliced
  • 1 each medium onions sliced
  • 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice

Directions

Heat the oil over medium heat. Dredge the pork chops in the flour. Brown the pork, about 4 minutes per side.

Combine the cheese, salt and pepper. Disolve the bouillon powder in the hot water.

Place half of the cheese mixture on top of the browned pork chops.

Layer the potato slices on top of the cheese mixture.

Place the other half of the cheese mixture on top of the potatoes.

Last layer the onions over the cheese mixture.

Pour the disolved bouillon over the layered pork chops.

Reduce the heat, cover and simmer until the vegetables are tender and the pork is 145° internally, about 45 minutes.
