the acom2s1 is a tx/rx commutator designed to efficiently enable two transceivers to share a standard load. it ensures that each transceiver input is protected while the other transceiver is transmitting, avoiding simultaneous transmission and allowing simultaneous reception. this device is designed to integrate seamlessly with the acom2000s/sw automatic antenna selector and the acom2000a automatic hf linear amplifier, making it a valuable addition to these systems.operating fully automatically, the acom2s1 supports full break-in (qsk) mode as a standard feature. with frequency coverage spanning all amateur bands from 1.8 to 54mhz, it can handle through-line power of up to 200w pep or continuous carrier. the input and output impedances are optimized for performance, with vswr levels maintained below 1.1:1 across the frequency range and below 1.2:1 up to 80mhz.regarding functions, the acom2s1 offers a t/r system with qsk mode capability and various protections to ensure smooth operation. it monitors t/r sequencing and rf relay contacts continuously, grounding one transceiver input while the other transceiver transmits and preventing simultaneous transmission. additionally, the device can be stored in specific environmental conditions, and the shipping size and weight specifications are defined for convenience and safety during transportation.
