My Sonic Pad did the resume just fine, problem was it had to reheat which lead to filament seeping while reheating. I think it needs a code to move off the print, reheat, drop the cleaner line of filament and then resume. Primes the nozzle while traveling back to resume the print, wiping the excess along the way.
This just results in one little string to pick off. Sets the idle timeout to 12 hours during the pause, and returns it to your configured value upon resume. A: Creality Sonic Pad temporarily does not support the power-off resume function Q24: How to generate time-lapse photography files? Creality CR-10 Smart Pro Sonic Pad (Klipper) Using Creality Slicer You will need to add " [pause_resume]" in the Printer Settings. Just type in the Start G-code box to add. After adding [pause-resume] you need to edit the 'Pause at Height" post processing script.
This will give you about one hour after it pauses to make the change before it. I am running an Ender3v2, with Sprite Pro extruder, on the Sonic Pad, mostly printing TPU at 235 degsC (although it also happens on my PETG prints). Does anyone have any tips/tricks to help? I've scoured the internet looking for similar problems, but can't find any discussions, which probably means it's me doing something stupid!
Hey all, I am relatively new to the Klipper game. But I do many multi-color prints with a pause at height from Cura on my Ender 3 Pro. I found a macro to do the pause at height (M0).
The pause seems to work well, it parks the head and sets the temp to the standby temp, but when I go to resume, I get a message on the screen that I must home first, and the message in moonraker I get:! Must. Explore our comprehensive troubleshooting guide for the Creality Sonic Pad. Get expert solutions to printing, connectivity, photography and functionalit.
In the "Pause at height" script settings, just enter "PAUSE" in the "G-code After Pause" text field. Klipper will still ignore the M0 command but the script will then run the PAUSE command, allowing you to do your filament change. Then just click the Resume print button on the web interface to continue printing.
Hi, I recently bough an Ender 3 S1 Pro with Creality Sonic Pad. I have installed the Pad and Printer and have been printing successfully however an item I am printing now requires the change filament post processing g-code to be used in the slicer. I have tried the change filament g-code and I have tried the pause at height g-code and it either pauses for a second (not long enough to change.
