Voting Open Until May 15

Voting in elections for Honolulus 33 Neighborhood Boards got underway last week and continues through May 15, with hundreds of candidates across Oahu seeking the opportunity to serve on the volunteer community panels.

Aubrey Dunn, a former state land commissioner, is an independent candidate. In addition to the early voting sites opening today, additional early voting locations will open May 15 until early voting ends May 29. The last day to request an absentee ballot is May 18.

Clerks offices will also be open on Saturday this Memorial Day weekend from 8 a.m. to noon. The last day to vote absentee will be Saturday, May 31, and those office times will also be 8 a.m. to noon.

Richmond Borough polls open for council elections, with 54 seats contested. Voting ends at 10 PM today. Major test for UK political parties.Polling stations opened at 7am and will remain open until 10pm, with voters required to bring valid photo ID in order to vote in person.
