Network access control (NAC) is an approach to computer security that attempts to unify endpoint security technology (such as antivirus, host intrusion prevention, and vulnerability assessment), user or system authentication and network security enforcement.

Network Access Control (NAC) facilitates the implementation of network policies to regulate devices and users accessing a network. The wireless NAC policy is established based on identifiable patterns associated with users and devices.

These policies will enable us to segregate the traffic to each VLAN effectively, ensuring proper network segmentation and access control. For this lab, well create two straightforward NAC policies: one for all Windows OS machines and another for all iPad OS devices.
