These colors were rescued from the currently unavailable 3dtrains.com website. This dataset includes the RGB Hex code and CMYK values for the colors used by the MTA for its various services, including the New York City Subway, the Staten Island Railway, the Long Island Rail Road, Metro-North Railroad, and Bridges & Tunnels, and for the MTA logo itself. Colors were sampled from official rapid transit diagrams* of every system in the world and charted in several ways to explore how each city has used them to color code each line or service.
