Ok so I am at Haruka's part in the story and I have clothes that I got in a required story mission, but every time I try to equip it it gives me some Japanese words which I figure means" cant equip this item" however I have seen different outfits on haruka including the Hatsune Miku outfit. To give an actual answer why you probably can't change outfits til you finish the game is that a good handful of cutscenes are pre rendered in these games, which means the changed outfits wouldn't reflect in certain cutscenes therefore killing immersion and consistency. Yukata To get the yukata costume you have to progress in the main story until you unlock the fortune exchenge with kamulop just like in infinite wealth, once you unlock it you can exchange the costume for 12 points, we defo feeling the vibes of the yakuza 5 table tennis with this one.
