They come in many different styles, including grandfather clocks, wall clocks, and calendar clocks, and their manufacturer's history is a wonderfully interesting one. When it comes to finding how old a New Haven Clock is, you can tell by identifying the type of material used in the making of that Clock.

Clocks with a glass dial, stenciled hand style, or bolts show their age. New Haven produced them as Jerome & Co. clocks, but only for about a year.
