Farthest Frontier Stone Quarry

I can understand that having limited stone access makes the resource rare and makes the game harder but it only creates limitations imho. Quarries, either open cut or mines into mountains/hills, should be possible and just like clearing land, take a very long time but still be possible. Different maps should allow for different types.

Best you can do pre-T4 is a work camp to focus select workers on an area of stone or just select stones for harvest. Notice there are no regular 'Stone Deposits' like there are Iron Ore vs DEEP Iron Deposit. Stone can become a scarce resource in Farthest Frontier's end game, so Crate Entertainment has brought about Quarries and Mega Rocks to solve this.

The Farthest Frontier Quarry guide provides all the information of the news released by developers about the addition of Quarry in the game. Are stone deposits (for quarries} indicated by a little symbol like clay and sand? I never seem to see any. The reception to Farthest Frontier so far has been fantastic and we're glad to see so many of you enjoying the game, providing feedback and reporting issues.

The game will become the best version of itself thanks in part to your support and contributions. A Quarry would be fantastic, I was sort of hoping that removing rocks from the fields by working it would at least spawn some small stones nearby/automatically harvest a small amount of stone (15-20ish). Stone is a vital resource in game but I am finding it rather annoying that I have to spend a majority of late game time looking for stone nodes within the surrounding region.

Everything in game is either replenished over time or has a significant amount material within in, expect stone. Am I missing something here or is this a known concern? A map with lack of (or limited) stone useful for buildings can be interesting.

It is not like you could use just about any type of stone for solidly built buildings and there are areas in the world where getting such stones was almost impossible historically. I had an interesting development today: a deep stone deposit appeared on my map. Does this mean a stone quarry is going to appear in the building menu (hopefully soon)?
