2003 Bmw Z4 Gas Cap

BMW gas cap stuck on In reply to Harvey: Nope, no lock. Here's the funny part: The real reason that I was opening the gas cap was to replace it, but only because the little tether was broken. So I have a new one ready to go on, but it did seem a little odd that Bavarian Autosport had one in stock when I ordered it.

BMW gas cap stuck on Oh thank goodness it came off. I was about to suggest putting a butter knife or spoon under the edge to let the vacuum off, running hot water over it, or maybe just tapping the corner against a table. The gas smell is literally only after a long day of racing.

i don't smell it at all early on in rallies or rallycrosses, usually more torward the end of the day when the car has been running hard for a long time. Yesterday when I let it idle for 10+ minutes there was no trace of any gas smell other than faintly when I opened the oil filler cap. BMW's i3 comes to try and prove that electric cars don't have to be soulless appliances.

Our press car came with a gasoline range extender for peace of mind, too. Other staff views I replaced it with a Febi cap which only took a minute.

My only oil leak was instantly resolved! With all of this accomplished, something crazy happened... the car's dash was now completely free of any lights! I'm pretty sure every time a BMW clears it's dash lights, a German scientist somewhere gets his wings.
