One about determining location of the OEM fuel pump, and mine was retrofitted with the block bypass and the tank pump. I'm sure about this, bump the starter and the pump wines loudly from the fuel tank. Then watched installation of the Fleece ProFlow in-tank lift pump.

Expensive product, but looks like an excellent design. The CAPS pump is similar to the VP-44 in a few ways, it is sensitive to fuel quanity, quality, temperature, and it is rotary. It does however use oil to lubricate the two pistons that do the pumping, however, the rotor is subjected to fuel volume and quanity for it's cooling and lubrication.
