A Peaceful Williamsburg Location The Orrell Kitchen is located in a quiet area of Williamsburg, close to the main drive for the Williamsburg Inn and within easy reach of Colonial Williamsburg's historic district. A significant historical year for this entry is 1775. Recently, our Architectural Preservation team found that the Orrell House was recently dated to c.1761-1763 using dendrochronology, the study of tree ring data! Located near the Williamsburg Inn on Francis Street, the Orrell House was once one of the Colonial Houses available to guests for overnight stays. Unfortunately, due to a condition issue, the building was closed to the public in 2020.
